Why I am Running and Some Ideas I Have

I am a highly motivated, fiscally responsible individual with a passion for the betterment of the Sycamore Community. Being a recent graduate of the School District has allowed me a unique perspective on the necessities and concerns of the local schools.

I desire to ensure that all students in the District feel safe and secure while attending classes and extracurricular activities.

• COVID-19 had a tremendous impact on our students. I have witnessed firsthand the impact of social isolation and learning loss due to the pandemic. To address these concerns, I'd like to help create a Board Committee focused on student mental health and social and emotional wellbeing.

I want to ensure that future contract negotiations are completed and signed promptly and efficiently, balancing the interests of students, teachers, and administrators.

Finally, I feel strongly about giving the families and students a voice that the Board of Education will hear. I am very willing to listen and respond to feedback from parents, students, and other community members.
